This happened a few years ago. It was in South Florida.

It’s not a big story. I was walking dogs, probably...around 9pm. I was walking down a street, facing due east. Probably about 15 miles from the ocean.

For whatever reason, my eye caught this light in the sky. Stationary, but bright. Bright white, as I recall, like a star. I think I stuck to it for a few seconds. It was sitting in place.

And then it zoomed off. In the blink of an eye, it was gone. I saw the trail, because I was watching it live. It was a bright white light, like a star, but in an instant it streaked to the north and it was gone. It shot across the sky like...honestly nothing I’ve ever seen before.

I don’t know what it was. I tend to be a skeptic when it comes to this stuff. But...does anyone have a reasonable explanation over what it could have been? This was probably 2013-14.
